About ASLAA

The Association of St. Louis Area Archivists (ASLAA), formed in 1972, is a professional association of archivists and manuscript curators from institutions throughout the bi-state metropolitan area. Membership is open to all interested individuals. ASLAA holds two meetings per year at repositories around the St. Louis area and publishes a newsletter, the Acid Free Press . Since 1985, ASLAA has published the Directory of Archives and Manuscript Repositories in the St. Louis Area .
