The Gaylord Music Library collects published and unpublished St. Louis music, including materials relating to local programs, sheet music and manuscripts of local composers. Holdings include more than 50,000 pieces of sheet music, 10 linear meters of tunebooks and hymnals dating from 1803-present, other printed music, extensive manuscript music with materials by P.G. Anton, Hubert Bauersachs, Carl August Kern, Ernest Richard Kroeger, Ernst Krohn. Sr., Ernst C. Krohn, Ottmar Moll, Anna May Lowenstein Nussbaum, Paul A. Pisk and Paul Tietjens. Major collections of Papers include Ernst C. Krohn; and a sizable collection of photographs, programs (7 linear meters), audiotapes of graduate recitals, ca. 40 items.
