Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum
The home and museum are owned by the City of Hannibal. Materials document the period in which the Clemens family lived in Hannibal, (1839-1853), and Mark Twain's life, (1835-1910). Personal letters, original illustrations for first editions, artifacts, first editions and a library of foreign editions comprise the bulk of the collection. Most of the literary manuscripts are housed at the University of California at Berkeley.
