Missouri Baptist University
Missouri Baptist University is a private Southern Baptist university, and one of three universities affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention. The archives contain materials on the history, development, and activities of Missouri Baptist University, including but not limited to: its inception as an extension of Hannibal-LaGrange College in 1957 (located at Tower Grove Baptist Church in midtown St. Louis), its charter as a separate Baptist college in 1964, and the establishment of the current campus in West St. Louis County where the first classes were held in 1968. The archives are in the Jung-Kellogg Learning Center on campus and are open by appointment only during the library’s operating hours.
