Principia Archives and Special Collections, Principia College, Marshall Brooks Library

The Principia Archives collects published and unpublished institutional records and materials of historical value since Principia’s founding in 1898. There are 3 locations from which the Archives derives: Principia's original location (1898-1959) at Page Blvd. and Belt Ave., St. Louis, Missouri, Principia College located in Elsah, Illinois (1935-present) and Principia School located in St. Louis, Missouri (1960-present). All manner of materials related to students, faculty, staff, campus architecture, campus geographic features and local environs are collected and housed in the Archives. Select Special Collections include the Marshall Brooks Library Rare Books and Manuscript Collection, Alumni Book Collection, and creative artworks by students and faculty.
